This organization is based in North Tonawanda, and tends to cater to scholastic chess, but offers classes for all ages and levels.

From the Buffalo Chess Association Website:

Our objective is to turn Western New York into a major player in the global chess community by creating a new generation of high-level chess players and rejuvenating Buffalo’s “chess culture.” Buffalo Chess Association is also working to connect chess students in Buffalo with students of chess around the world, holding online classes available for students worldwide. We intend to hold enough classes to make teaching chess a viable job for those who have the necessary skills.
